Hi.

Welcome to my blog! I live for simplicity yet I strive to be bold.

Spring Makeup Capsule Must-Haves

Spring Makeup Capsule Must-Haves

It's that time again! If you're new around here, I switch out my makeup shades every season. I love doing this because it gives me a little refresh every few months while also consolidating my makeup into a minimalist capsule. It also prevents me from getting into makeup ruts where I just wear the same few shades over and over. Not that having a few favorite staples is a bad thing, I just love getting excited about my makeup routine every season!

I create my makeup capsules through Seint Beauty because they sell empty palettes and individual shades so it's super affordable to just swap out a few of my makeup shades every season especially if I'm just using a palette I already have.

What Is A Makeup Capsule?

Before I get into the product reveal, I wanted to quickly go over what a makeup capsule actually is. Of course your definition may be different than mine which is totally fine. To me, a makeup capsule is a consolidated and minimalist collection of the products you actually use on a daily basis. Extra points for products that are versatile and can be used in more than one way! A makeup capsule doesn’t necessarily have to mean you can’t still have “glam” or full coverage makeup, it just means you simplify what products you use to get that.

Again, this is where I freaking love Seint Beauty and their makeup system. They offer these empty magnetic palettes that you can fill with all the makeup products you actually want and need! Their palettes are also multi-layered so you can have all your cream (face) products in the top layer and all your eyeshadows/powder products in the next layer! Which leads to… ONE compact that holds EVERYTHING you need for a complete makeup look AKA a makeup capsule. Throw in a few double-sided versatile makeup brushes and you truly have a minimalist beauty collection without sacrificing anything.

What Face Products Are In A Spring Makeup Capsule?

As I mentioned, I like to put all of my “face” products in the top layer of my palette. Because Seint Beauty offers all cream products and all in the same size of metal tin, you can create a beautiful and functional makeup palette as you can see below! (tap to learn why cream makeup is the best)

So of course this spring makeup capsule is customized to my perfect shades as far as the 3 highlight/foundation shades and the contour. That’s the part that you will customize to you or take my free quiz to get your Seint Beauty shade match. After those, I have a cream bronzer which is a pretty universal shade- Bella (or choose from several others). And then 4 blush/lip shades which I think are just perfect for spring makeup looks! (all these blush/lip shades work great on any skin-tone!)

What Are The Best Eye Shadows For Spring Makeup?

And then this is the really fun part! Have you ever been shopping for eye shadows only to feel overwhelmed at all the palette options but not one you 100% love? It’s hard to drop the cash on a pretty eye palette when you know there’s at least two shadows in there you will never use. And even worse.. you have your two favorite eyeshadows you wear most and when they run out.. you have to buy that entire palette again just for those favs! There’s a better (and more affordable) way! With Seint Beauty, all the eye shadows are sold by the single so you can literally build the eye palette of your dreams or just snag those two favs.

Once you have your eye shadows picked, go ahead and add them to that same palette with all your other makeup! Don’t worry they are in their own layer so powders and creams won’t mix and make a mess. Again, you can totally customize this eye shadow palette to the shades YOU want and love but if you are wanting spring eyeshadow inspiration then take a look at my palette for this season!

Spring Makeup Ideas

Now that I’ve shared my makeup capsule for spring, I thought it would be fun to share a few spring makeup looks for some inspiration! And of course, these looks were done using only my spring makeup capsule so you can see that you really can get a complete look from it!

Below you will see 3 spring makeup look ideas. One is a green toned makeup look, a golden peachy makeup look, and a classic soft pink makeup look.

In all three looks I am wearing my standard things which include: Aura, White Peach, and Moonlit highlights. I'm also wearing Ash contour and Bella bronzer in all 3.

Look #1 Standard products and St. Tropez as blush and lip with Cindy layered on top (I can't remember if I also mixed just a dab of ballerina as well) On the eyes I'm wearing: Drift, Valencia, Tangerine, Soulmate, Bubba, and Oak as liner.

Look #2 Standard products and Madrid as blush. On my lips I did Madrid and then Ballerina on top. On the eyes are: Drift, Stardust, and #33. Also black Friday eyeliner. I do have a tutorial for this spring makeup look here.

Look #3 Standard products and Cindy for blush and lip. On the eyes are: Pomegranate, Claire, and Soulmate.

P.S. you can also totally do a barely there simple look with this makeup capsule too! Watch a tutorial here.

How To Build A Custom Makeup Capsule

Before I finish up this blog post, I wanted to do a quick recap on how you can build your own custom makeup palette! Honestly the best way to have a makeup capsule or a minimalist makeup palette is through Seint Beauty. And to get started with Seint Beauty, you will want to take my free shade match quiz! I have matched hundreds of women virtually over the last 6 years and I love doing it! With my Seint Beauty quiz, you will get custom shade matches and other product recommendations based on what you request from me.

Or if you want to get started on your own, check out the pre-built collections on the Seint website based on your skin tone range. You can always start with the basic collection and then create your own custom palette with more blush/lips and eyeshadows that you want.

And that is all you need to know about creating a spring makeup capsule! I hope this inspired you to be more minimalist and simplify your makeup routine. I also hope this helped give you some inspiration for spring makeup looks! Thank you so much for taking the time to read, please share if you liked this post!
